Malta is once again open for business – Junior Minister for Digital Economy, Clayton Bartolo

iGathering premier networking event, held by the infinity pool at rooftop venue Skybeach, marked the first major networking event this year for the industry – offering welcome respite for an iGaming crowd eager to get back into the swing of things after dealing with a tough few months during the health pandemic.

Catering to 500 top tier guests, including guest of honour, Junior Minister for Financial Services and Digital Economy at Government of Malta, the Hon. Clayton Bartolo, the evening kicked off with a spectacular sunset over the St Julian’s skyline, bringing some of the best in the industry together for an evening of first class networking, great food and an open bar. The evening also owes its success thanks to the generosity of sponsors, Singular  and Cryptopay.

The Junior Minister, who will appear as the cover story for the upcoming issue of Block magazine, gave an opening speech, saying, “It hasn’t been easy but we’ve managed to make it through – now is the time to continue working and moving forward, to organise events, to network, to make new friends and above all to be here in Malta. Malta is definitely the place to be.

“What’s coming up is a new digital Malta, we’ll be working hard to attract more gaming companies to Malta, to attract more blockchain, AI, crypto, and Big Data. You are all invited to be a part of our project and Malta is once again open for business.”

iGathering also offered top-notch entertainment, brought to you in association with JUGS, alongside SiGMA’s own DJ Tony.
